From the Major’s blog: four new tracks for Rock Band have been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace today, three of which are included in the MTV2 Pack 01. “Girls Who Play Guitars” by Maximo Park, “Bullets & Guns” by Them Terribles, “A Clean Shot” by The Myriad and “Moving to Seattle” by The Material round out the collection of songs from artists I’ve never heard of. The last three cost 80 Microsoft points each and are what can be found in the 240 point MTV2 Pack. “Girls Who Play Guitars,” however, carries the normal price of 160 points.
I don’t know about any of you, but I’m willing to bet I’m not the only one who will once again be bypassing all of the new DLC without giving it a second thought. I admit, I’m not familiar with any of these bands, but there is so much music that I would love to see, that I feel slighted each and every week that a handful of tracks I don’t care about are released.
