Rock Band: Celebrate Holidays with Contest for a Contest

In the spirit of the Holidays, Gamerscore News is sponsoring a Rock Band Contest for a Contest.

Here’s what Gamerscore proposes:

I read somewhere that it is better to give than to receive. We are putting that to the test this week. We are launching a contest to offer one of our community sites the gift of Rock Band. There is, however, a catch… We want you to use that Rock Band as a giveaway for one of your own listeners or website visitors. Rock Band is “crazy nice”, as we say on the streets. The temptation to keep it for yourself will be strong, but giving it to one of your loyal fans should feel twice as awesome, right?

And now the scoop. Gamerscore produced a video about their quest to get copies of Rock Band. After shelling out the bucks to get their own copies, Harmonix was so impressed with the video, it sent them a bundle. Now they hope to spread the spirit of giving by offering fan sites a chance to win a bundle to give away for themselves. To enter, visit

The winning band name will be chosen December 11. The winning site can then run their own contest for which the winner will receive the Rock Band bundle. “(and maybe THEY will hold a contest, and the cycle will continue forever and ever…).”
