RHCP ‘Rock Band’ DLC Surfaces

We received a tip today concerning new DLC for Rock Band and for all of the Red Hot Chili Peppers fans out there, this is great news indeed. This new DLC showed up on XBL on the small ads in the Xbox pane, and while a Harmonix rep supposedly denied this and said it was a hoax, our tipster posted some screenshots to prove it, and in the meantime they were slipped an announcement letter with a release date set for Friday, February 18th along with pricing and availability.

The RHCP Pack will cost 440 MS Points and will include “Otherside”, “Under the Bridge”, and “Universally Speaking”. Of course you can also purchase each song individually for 160 MS points. No word on PS3 DLC availability, but if it’s coming out for the 360, it is coming out for the PS3 as well.

This news is just too awesome, I love RHCP, and with each new announcement regarding more DLC, I want Rock Band even more – I am getting really tired of driving over to a friend’s house just to play it.
