Resistance: Fall Of Man Update Goes Live Today!

William reported yesterday Resistance: Fall Of Man is going to get a very very long awaited update. Well, in case you forgot, today is the day you can all get the update and enjoy Insomniac’s labor of love. Here’s what you can expect in the update:

• Being able to view your PlayStation Network Friends list from our in-game lobby
• In-game method for reporting abusive players
• Voice chat through TV speakers if you don’t have a microphone
• Clan leadership transfer
• Human character lip syncing and facial animation control
• Penalty time enforced on people who frequently quit ranked games
• Ranked games that become unbalanced prior to launch will automatically be canceled in the lobby.
• Ability to play on Worldwide servers

Also, we can’t forget the new maps.  Westmorland features snowy hills and Chimeran architecture. Camborne features both above ground and underground fighting introducing a new twist on team battles.  Both will be available on the Playstation store for the low low price of $7.99.  Once the servers come back online, I expect you all to get online and get this update ASAP!
