Resident Evil 5 Demo Heading to North America in “Early 2009″

A representative for Capcom has told MTV Multiplayer that a downloadable Resident Evil 5 demo for the PS3 and Xbox 360 should be heading to North American in early 2009. The demo was released for the Xbox 360 last week in Japan, and according to the rep, the reason it was not released here at the same time had to do with “unspecified complications” despite the Japanese version being localized in English.
The demo will include two stages which support both online and offline co-op and a single player mode. The game is expected to hit retailers on March 13 so if they are going to give us a demo, they need to do it soon.
