A friendly reminder from Activision-Blizzard arrived in our inboxes this morning regarding the new Dragonforce Track Pack for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
As you may recall, DragonForce will ascend the virtual stage once again to unleash “Heroes of Our Time” – the debut single off their new album “Ultra Beatdown” – in a three-song track pack which will be available on August 21 (Thursday) giving gamers the opportunity to download and play “Heroes of Our Time” in advance of the album release.
Included in the track pack is “Revolution Deathsquad” and “Operation Ground and Pound” from their third album “Inhuman Rampage”. The three-song DragonForce Track Pack will be available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PSN.
We will let you know when it is up and ready to make your fingers bleed.

who cares. why not sonata arctica. anything is better than more dragonforce
@Layton .. Just leave the poor gh3 fanboys .. someones gotta be a fan of such crap
Its not the quality of music that keeps those of us who play guitar hero love/ like dragonforce its the difficulty … speed metal with insane shredding is great and yes a virtuoso pack would b great but why waste great music that could be on world tour to this… plus we all need new songs its what keeps gh alive and yes the 6.25 pricetag is manegable these are great songs some of dragonforces best (especially the two from inhuman rampage) … so stop complaining about bad music when u probably cant pass thru the fire and flames … lol
i have 5 stared every song that has been put in gh3 and i really wanted some harder songs thank you activision. god i wanted fury of the storm also
I don’t think Dragonforce is crap, I was listening to them back when Valley of the Damned was released, before guitar hero existed, I don’t play guitar hero just because it’s “hard”, I play on expert, and I play because it’s fun. I also play a real guitar, so leave out any comments on that, and you can criticize Dragonforce all you want if you can play better than them.

Well to correct you on that, I can play better than them… and so can most kids playing guitar in their basements. I happen to play in a band that covers Symphony X and Dream Theater as well as the occasional Paul Gilbert track
so I know a thing or two (or 100 ) about playing a guitar. I saw Dragonforce at a festival in southern California, and by GOD they were awful. I know that bands don’t get a soundcheck for festivals, but Herman Li can not complete a song without makign at least 10 mistakes. The problem w/ DF is that they speed up their studio recordings past their playing ability, and go even faster onstage, which makes for a worse show. We practically had to save the show after they played (which we did w/ an awesome cover of “The Divine Wings of Tragedy”.). Their studio recordings are actually not that bad, but I prefer bands who can actually TOUR as opposed to just record into a computer and then edit.
