Every World of Warcraft player knows that there are some patches that have a major impact on the game as a whole. The upcoming patch, 2.3, is one whose release has been widely anticipated.
Over at the WoW Forums, Blizzard poster Drysc today confirmed in a post discussing the upcoming Arena Season 3 that the 2.3 patch is set to be released this Tuesday, November 13.
An excerpt from this post is below:
The start date for Season 3 is purposefully planned to be one week later than the release of patch 2.3, which is currently scheduled for November 13. We will be closely monitoring the testing of the 2.3 patch, and if it looks like it won’t make the November 13 date, we will announce a delay.
For more information on the upcoming Arena season, and the changes that are being made to the way Arena teams are scored, you’ll have to go read his post.

?????? ????
Everyone I know was wondering if the patch was tomorrow or not, and my guild told me that we are going to do ZA on Wednesday. So, this makes sense, but this article seems more into the Arena Season than it does with the new Zul’Aman (sp?) or the crazy 10% more damage mages get from Fireballs and Frostbolts…
Oh well.

Yes, the post Drysc made is directed at the arena seasons, but he gives the only hard release date we’ve seen from Blizzard on the patch in there as well.
It would seem to me that the probability is high for the aforementioned to occur as stated by said blue unless some unforseen event should stay their hand in which case–as mentioned–we would be properly notified. So sayeth the Jakamo!
how do you go about downloading the patch instead of finding just notes on it?
