Red vs. Blue Returns

To help promote the release of Halo 3, Red vs. Blue is making a return July 31 on participating websites. The Rooster Teeth team prepares Sarge, Donut, Simmons and the rest of the crew for the battles that await them in Halo 3. Some feared that the classic Machinima series had come to an end a while back, but the excitement of Halo 3 has sparked the return.
The sites that will air the new episodes include Amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City, GameStop, and Wal-Mart..

In anticipation of the big launch of Halo® 3 in September, a five-episode special edition of Red vs. Blue will premiere at participating retail websites starting on Tuesday, July 31. The episodes feature Sarge preparing Donut, Simmons, and the rest of his soldiers for the upcoming move from Halo 2 into Halo 3.
Red vs. Blue is a pioneering video series created by Rooster Teeth that uses Halo® characters to act out a continuing story. The animation is created in real-time by using a video game engine to power the visuals. Graham Leggat of the San Francisco film society, dubbed Red vs. Blue the “first masterpiece of machinima.” This very popular “machinima” series, which has a huge online following, spans five seasons and 100 episodes, and it portrays the adventures of two groups of rather unwilling soldiers in an isolated canyon called Blood Gulch.
With clever dialogue and engaging characters, the series has won four awards from the Academy of Machinima Arts & Sciences. Rooster Teeth also created the machinima series 1-800-MAGIC, based on the world of Shadowrun. Episodes of Red vs. Blue are available on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace, or you can find out more by visiting their official site.

They were pretty insistent in saying it was the end of the Blood Gulch Chronicles and they’ve been hinting at using Halo 3 for quite some time. Still, it makes me feel better still

I also hope they bring back tex even though she died that would be cool if they did bring her back even though they have to put a mini story together to expain how she came back from the dead. Well, if you go by the second ending, it was all just a game and they choose ‘new map’ at the end, fitting in with the fact that it’s the end of the ‘Blood Gulch’ Chronicles and will return with something else, however it’s ending 3 which gives the idea that they’re going to go onto Halo 3; “this time I’M naming the vehicle” says Simmons.

RvB is one of the funniest things around.
What a surprise, they’re back again. Why couldn’t they have just quit the first time. Their sense of humor is incredibly lacking in any real humor. Their entire fanbase is filled with idiotic Halo fanboys. Halo is the most overrated game, it does absolutely nothing new. And MC is the word protagonist ever, Arbiter is even worse. Get it through your heads, halo sucks.
And in case you all think so I’m not a Sony fanboy. I have a 360 and a Wii, not a PS3. The PS3 has no games and is a terrible, overpriced excuse for a system.

So when you say halo sucks it us quite apparent that it us a personal opinion. Perhaps you should state that instead of foolishly making a blanket statement. Halo is after all only the best selling game of all time. Not to mention that RvB us quite possably the most popular web series of all time. So when you call halo gamers fan boys you see very likely speaking about 90% of the xbox community. Mabey you simply have poor taste. The fact us bungie has and will continue to make harry potter like money on the game and series. Well its kind of self explanitory that Tex will come back considering that in the old series she stolle Churches body after she was blown up by Donuts grenade (poor donut, he coulda gone pro…) but in that case they wont even need to include a mini series about how she came back while they can start screwin around with the mongoose. Also if any of you watched G4 tech T.V. on Saturday September 28th then you would have heard the creator of RVB say that them pullin RVB onto Halo 3 is still pending so I’m not gettin my hopes to high just to find that they are’nt makin another series. Tucker is wanting to do the whole crew again but they are’nt sure if they will be able to create another story base as amazingly well as the old series.
But i know that Church and Caboose are ready to get back on board and join RT back on the boards on being the best on Machinma and start kickin some serious ass again and sweepin the nation in their insane comedy that can make anyone laugh. I am upset though that there will be no Coagulation/Blood Gulch so they might have to choose a different map which would be odd to consider adding to a part of the story. The RT team will also have the option of the 4-player option on the Xbox Live so that they could actually include them fighting the war for freedom which they could turn into a comedy/action(lol) series. Well anyway guys keep cool keep clean and overall KEEP WATCHING RED VS BLUE, ALL OF YA!!! OR SARGE WILL HAVE HIS FOOT UP YOUR BUTT ON THE DOUBLE!!!Aye bye.

Hooray for Red vs Blue!
First off, I have to say that RvB the the freaking funniest thing out there. However, I don’t understand some of the story line. Like did Tex really die or did she blast off into space. Also, in season 1 tex lifts Shiela when she’s flipped over, but then, in season 3, she can’t life Andy the bomb. And how is everyone still alive in the future. That whole time travel part confuses me. in the words of Tucker, “AHHHHH that doesn’t make any sense”. So could someone fill me in on the details.
I also want to get this straight, so they have the 5 mini-episodes with sarge getting the guys ready to jump to Halo 3. Do they have any other episodes or are they waiting until July to start RvB 2.

Ok all you guys… I’ve been watchin G4 and i’ve found that they probabally wont be bringing Red Vs Blue back. The Halo 3 episodes were only a comercial advertisement probabally for Halo 3 and even though they have done the entire series so far that doesnt mean that they will continue with another season. These guys have jobs and they have other things to do. I’m all behind Red Vs Blue and Halo and I love it and all but I just dont think they’ll be back. They have all those options for Halo 3 but that doesnt mean that they wil be making a continuation for it…They’ve really exausted every aspect of the game and the books. They could make a series theming on Halo Wars between the covenant and the Spartan wars so I think that that would be the only reason to keep the series goin. Its all good and all but forge isnt avalible on X-box live and they can’t do it. It wouold be a good idea to start a new series of halo like after the war and the Halo games or somethin
but I mean they would have to go through another four years of doing the exact thing if they want to do 100 more episodes. I dont think they could come up with that much new storyline-Sorry RVB team- because they would have to fill makny of the loop holes they left undone in the story. I think the aspect of introducing an entirely new cast maybe with the same people would be nice but they would have to change almost everthing again and i dont think they could create another crew or even rival the old Red Vs Blue Series. They probabally made enough money off of the other series that they did but they would have to live off the same game for another few years… 
They probabally wanted to make it a one time thing and it would probabally make a difference in how the series turned out. They could probabally start them out by fitting them out with new armour but…i dont know…just dont get your hopes up and RVB if ur readin this then i hope that if you do make a new series then make a good 1

Hey does anyone know if a halo movie is coming out. I’ve heard rumors but nothing for sure.
