My com has – Quad @2.4Ghz, P45 platinum mobo, 4GB of ram, XP Home, ATI RX2600XT Gfx and i can only run it smoothly on medium settings. But i am ptting an 8800GT in as soon as i have some free time so it should run a little better

Please! Why can’t I play this game on high specs when i have OS – Windows XP
Processor – Intel Core 2 DUO @ 2.2GHz Memory – 2.0 GB RAM and
GPU – NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS???
I can’t even turn antialiasing on, and it does’t go on highest res…

my pc is has a quad core prossesor, 2 gig of dominator ram, a evga ko acs3 8800gtx
and vista an i need to put all crysis setting on on medium to make it run smooth!!

Hi
I have a Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile T7200 @ 2000 MHz Fujitsu Siemens LAPTOP with a 128MB graphics card.
I have installed the game, but it will not play! Is there a way i can get it to work, then play it in low quality? I have seen people say they can play Crysis with a 64MB card… don’t see how.
Please Help.

I thought about that but there are loads of programs that don’t work on 64bit. I was thinking of going down the workstation route with Dual Xeons and Vista Ultimate 64bit. On a board like the Supermicro X7DA3 I could install up to 32gb RAM but there are still loads of compatibility issues with software on a 64bit OS. It would be great for my Adobe stuff but less so for all the cheap freeware programs you pick up along the way.

I’ve got Vista Ultimate 32bit which I believe supports 16gb so I’ll stick with that. I think I’ll start off with 4gb (2 blocks of 2) and maybe add another 4gb at a later date.

@Norbit – lol, overclocking might be unnecessary but hey whatever floats your boat. Maybe you should go with 64 bit Windows so you can stick 16GB of RAM in there, eh?

I don’t know that I’d say playing on DX9 would _ruin_ it, but I don’t think you’d get quite the same experience as DX10 users will be treated to.

@Chris. The thing that is most exiting to me about Crysis is the graphics so playing it with the settings down or on DX9 would just ruin it imo.

2008 means a quad core twin DX10 GPU water cooled shit kicker overclocked to the nuts and stuffed with oodles of DDR3 RAM

and a PS3 of course.

@Norbit – Not a bad plan. That’s probably what I would do in your case, too. It’s exactly what I did with Halo 2 Vista and Shadowrun. (Not that I was missing out on much.)

Ive currently got a P4 running at 4.2ghz and a X1900XTX with 2gb RAM so I would be OK but I’m gonna leave Crysis alone ’till I build my new rig early next year and then I can enjoy it at its full

well it runs fine on my p4 3.0ghz and 7600gt so i imagine an 8 series and dual core will run it a helluva lot better.
