Read a Book! Halo: Contact Harvest Launches

Tor Books has announced that the newest novel based on the Halo series has shipped to retailers. Halo: Contact Harvest is penned by Joseph Staten, lead writer for Bungie and one of the original creators of the Halo trilogy. This marks his first entry into the world of novel writing, after serving as writer and cinematics director on all three Halo games. The book will follow a young Staff Sergeant Avery Johnson, Master Chief’s mentor, as he experiences the beginning of humanity’s war with the Covenant.
