Reactions to the Max Payne Film From Comic-Con Goers

This morning, it seems attendees at the San Diego Comic-Con were treated to some early footage from the upcoming Max Payne film. In all, the movie’s producers showed an extended trailer for the film as well as three different movie clips. Two of the clips were apparently direct scenes from the movie, with Mark Wahlberg confronting some unsavory characters; the third clip was a montage of mostly action scenes set to music. The reactions to these showings have been quite mixed from the sounds of things. From what I can gather, it sounds like the movie will be mostly what people have expected: an over-the-top action film whose style is sure to either look very cool at some moments and hokey at others.
