Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Will Be the Team’s Last Trip to Sin City

Last night’s episode of X-Play brought a hands on preview of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 accompanied by a dialogue with one of the designers, Chris Masters. While the gameplay looks to be solid and just as enjoyable as the previous game, the real news seemed to come in an offhand comment from Masters. While answering some basic questions about the game, he disclosed that the development team has no intention of creating another Rainbow Six Vegas game in the future. He did however say that they might move the setting to another location, but didn’t specify where. Either way, you should make sure to soak in all the neon lights you can when the game ships in March.

Maybe they’ll make another true R6 game.
Vegas was fun, but it wasn’t Rainbow Six.
I miss the original R6 pc game! I think I’ll dig that one out and give it a go.

Great… there’s an FPS coming out on my birthday, and I’m gonna be allowed to play…
@Jose
Agreed.Keyboard and mouse are where its at.
I really don’t know how to feel about leaving Vegas.
I mean as long as the cover system stays with the game.
On thing i think might hurt the game is bullet penetration.
If done right it should be great but if done wrong the cover system would be ruined.
