Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Haze Delayed Until 2008

With sales of Assassin’s Creed topping the $1 million mark, one would think that Ubisoft would be on top of the world, and I am sure they are. Add to this the fact that the company’s fiscal report for the months leading up to September showed a 52% increase in sales, one would think Ubisoft would be trying to surpass these figures with the highly anticipated Haze and Rainbow Six Vegas 2.Unfortunately for us, the PS3 exclusive Haze, which was supposed to be released sometime in December, has now been officially pushed into the first part of 2008. While this is bad news for gamers excited about the game, it may be good news for Ubisoft because the fiscal year 2007 does not end for them until January 2008. Therefore, they can still release the game in January and claim victory for 2007. Funny hour the year plays out in the world of finance.
Ubisoft has also announced that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be released in North America in March of 2008. Being developed by the original Vegas team, very little is known about the sequel, but Ubisoft claims that the game is set to “break new ground in both co-op and adversarial modes, while providing unprecedented interaction between the solo and multiplayer modes.” Alrighty then, back that up with some screens and a trailer so we can judge for ourselves Ubi.
Wow RainbowSix:Vegas 2, now that is a pleasent surprise. After spending about 4 months playing online, getting hooked on that game(was the only good game out at the time and eventhough we were forced to play it we loved every minute of it) I am sure glad to hear about a sequel. Granted it’s probably going to be over shadowed by the great titles coming out around that date I will still be getting this as soon as it comes out.

Well I am a Little disapointed I have to wait tell march for my beloved rainbow six vegas 2, that is going to be the best game ever (well close it least) I was so angry
at the end of Rainbow six vegas they really leave you hanging, but I really hope they add a few more weapons to the already great armory, as for haze I dont plan on getting a PS3 anytime soon.
