Ragtime Cheat Turns Call of Duty 4 Into 1920’s Silent Film

Throughout the course of the single-player campaign in Call of Duty 4, you can collect various enemy intel in the form of laptops scattered throughout the levels. Collect enough of these and you’ll unlock different cheat modes, the most interesting of which has to be the ragtime mode, shown in the video above. This mode essentially transforms the game into 1920’s silent film by speeding up the game, adding a sepia tone, and replacing the sound with a piano soundtrack. In this mode, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Charlie Chaplin came running by with a dozen policemen in hot pursuit waving billy clubs. Ah, Depression-era police brutality.

  1. I’m not sure if that is the most useless thing I have ever seen, or the most awesome.

Hah, the dude got run over at the end. The music and the game speed just makes it that much funnier.
