Puzzle Quest Sequel Slated for 2008?

D3Publisher of Europe recently sent out a press release announcing Adam Roberts as their new managing director. Yes, that’s not very exciting news, but a little snippet at the end of the press release certainly is:
The company will also be releasing video games based on Aardman’s popular Shaun the Sheep character in 2008, alongside the eagerly-awaited follow-ups to the best-selling Ben 10 and Puzzle Quest.
M-m-more Puzzle Quest? I lost weeks of my life to the last one, so even hearing those two words makes my heart skip a beat. I suppose a sequel was bound to happen, but it’s pretty strange that the first we really hear about it is in a notice about a new managing director.

This is great news. Puzzle Quest is perhaps my favorite XBLA title.
