Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords stole days, if not weeks, from thousands of gamers the world over. So when D3Publisher of America announces that an expansion is on the way sometime this spring for the XBLA, you can imagine how many hearts out there probably skipped a beat. The expansion will apparently contain an enormous amount of new content, including new items, quests, spells, Hero professions, and an all-new archenemy named, “Antharg, the Lord of Plague.” Right now, they’ve code-named it “Puzzle Quest 1.5,” but luckily they don’t intend to stick with that name. Instead, they’re asking fans of the series to submit their own ideas for a title at the game’s official website between today at noon and March 21st at noon. The winners and two runners-up will be announced on April 2.
“Infinite Interactive has delivered much more than the average expansion pack and the incredible amount of content that it will include sets a new precedent for offerings on Xbox Live Arcade,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of product development, D3PA. “As much as ‘Puzzle Quest 1.5′ appropriately describes the new content, we look forward to having our fans name the next iteration in the Puzzle Quest universe.”
You can head over to puzzle-quest.com to submit your ideas for a title. And then start clearing your schedule, because your life will soon belong to colored gems once more.

Was this game really that fun or does it depend on which platform you play it on?
