Purse Snatcher Uses Stolen Credit Cards to Buy Consoles

I suppose I have a morbid fascination with reading the stories about people stealing to buy video games. But my question is, what does this 43 year-old woman want with video games?

Bethany Ann Campbell was arrested last Tuesday trying to pawn tools she purchased with the credit cards she stole, according to a recent Associated Press story. Right now she’s in jail facing 22 felony charges.

My only guess about her situation is that she was either buying the video game consoles for her 10 year-old son, or maybe it was just another high-priced item to pick up off the shelves. What an awesome mother.
