Pretty, Blurry Colors in New Screens for Speed Racer

There are new screens up for the upcoming game based on the Speed Racer movie. This being a movie-based game, I was wondering which direction the developers would take the title: create a bland racer from scratch or just rip-off other, better racers from the past. From the looks of things, I’d say they went with the latter. The batch of screens bear a striking resemblance to games like WipeOut and F-Zero. Now the question remains, “Will it live up to those past titles?” I’m not holding my breath.
