EA has announced that the ultimate party game Boogie for the Wii has shipped in North America. Boogie is packed with 39 of the most popular party songs from the last four decades. The songs are new renditions of hits from classic artists such as The Jackson 5, Kool & The Gang, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Cyndi Lauper as well as more current stars like Black Eyed Peas and Britney Spears. Players will sing, dance, and improvise their own music videos with the game’s built in Karaoke microphone and the “easy-to-use” music video creator. Players can also customize one of five Boog characters to include in their original videos or take on the road in story mode.
Boogie will sell in the U.S. for a suggested $59.99 and has been rated E10+ by the ESRB for Lyrics and Suggestive Themes. It’s scheduled for release in Europe August 31.
