Portal Ending Cinamatic – SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT

Valve’s The Orange Box was released this week and one of the most anticipated titles in The Orange Box was a little puzzle game called Portal. I don’t want to get into what goes on in Portal for those of you who might not have played the title yet. All you need to know is Portal is a game that will challenge your way of thinking in an FPS environment by making you sit back and think about what needs to be done rather than running and gunning.
Overall, my experience with Portal was a pleasant one, especially the end of Portal, which I have included after the break. If you haven’t completed Portal and would rather keep the ending fresh for when you complete the game, by all means skip the rest of this article.
For those of you who did complete Portal, you know what to expect.
Welcome back. So you’ve completed Portal, and even though it was an overall short experience, I’m sure you, just like I, really enjoyed the ending cinematic. Upon completing the game, I searched for the cinematic online. So without further ado, relive the ending cinematic over and over again to your heart’s content. Yes, I thought this was really funny. I really liked the lines like “we were just kidding, we weren’t really trying to murder you… hahahahah” lol.
Great concept
I sang along. A brilliant piece of writing, much like everything else in Portal.
“You’ll be dead. And then there will be cake.” XD
Portal is brilliant in every aspect except for its length…..beat it in a little over 2 hours
@STALKER – That’s how long it took me, too, but when you consider it’s worth going back and playing through again (if for nothing other than the brilliant writing) and the additional challenges, it’s a solid little package.

Gotta be one of my favorite recent games.
The length ain’t too bad. 3 hours for the main game, plus another playthrough for commentary, plus 6 advanced maps, plus 6 challenge maps with three challenges per map.
I put videos of myself playing the Least Portal challenges and getting gold on them, click mah name for a Youtube playlist of all six videos.
Oh, and the eventual mods after Valve gets off its ass and releases a Portal SDK update…. I wanna map for Portal!
mmmm cake… Portal is made of pure awesome.
You gotta hand it to Valve, TF2(especially the “Meet the _____” videos associated with it)and Portal have such a great sense of humor.
Oh and was wondering, anyone else want a toy Portal sentry gun that says lines when you cross in front of it or pick it up?… Those things are hilarious.
