PopStar Guitar Shows Peripheral and Pop Star Selections

XS games and Broadsword Interactive have put a new trailer out for PopStar Guitar. This upcoming title for the Wii uses the Nunchuck and AirG shell for the Wii-mote which you can see at the end of the clip. The PS2 version will use a guitar controller. The control scheme appears to be much simpler than Guitar Hero or Rock Band, so it might work better for kids.

With Pop celebrities like Rihanna, Maroon 5, Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers, PopStar Guitar is solidly aimed at a younger audience. The game does feature a few edgier groups like Paramore, 3 Doors Down, Simple Plan and Blink 182 which I wouldn’t necessarily categorize as pop, but how many pop tunes have good guitar lines anyway?
