New York based developer area/code that brought you PacManhattan, Conquest, and Big Urban Game has developed a DS title that uses the player’s real life location in game. According to Eurogamer, Plundr uses a Wi-Fi Positioning System to track where the player is. The player visits little island hotspots on an interactive street map ransacking merchant ships, bartering a variety of booty, and engaging other players in their best pirate fashion.
Plundr debuted at the Where 2.0 conference in San Jose. Though it was designed for laptop users on the move, you can try out Plundr on your PC.
