Playstation Publishes Objectionable Advertisements…Again

The two ads above come from India as part of a promotional campaign dubbed “Because Your Girlfriend Bores You.” While the design of it is pretty cool, I have to admit it’s probably not the best method to go about promoting a product. As you can imagine, already a number of womens’ groups are jumping all over Sony about these ads. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Sony’s offended a bunch of people with some objectionable ads. It seems lot not that long ago, there were ads for the PSP in Europe that showed a white woman stepping on a black woman’s head. Someone over there just seems to make some poor judgment when it comes to picking advertisers.
