PlayStation Network IDs Now Available Online

Taking another baby step towards catching up to Xbox Live, you can finally get an Xbox Live gamercard-esque version of your PlayStation Network ID by simply linking your ID to your PlayStation Underground account. By doing so, you can now now display a gamercard like you see below on any website, as well as view your PSN friends list on PlayStation.com.
The portable ID, as Sony is calling it, isn’t particularly exciting, but it sure beats a line of text that simply says what your ID is. The friends list is a much more significant addition — now Sony just needs to implement a way to send messages from the PC to people on their PS3s.
You can link your ID by going here.
