PlayStation 2 and DS Owners to Get Their Boogie On

Were you disappointed to find out that you wouldn’t be able to play Boogie (Wii) on your DS or PlayStation 2? No? Well that doesn’t matter, because Boogie is headed to both systems before the end of the year anyway. The PlayStation 2 version would logically be a port of the Wii version, although how you’d actually sing or dance with the game sans Wiimote is puzzling.
On the DS side of things, Boogie will be “the first 3D gameplay on the handheld system,” according to EA. While you might be dismissive of that claim at first, you might want to think again, as the game will ship with some sort of 3D glasses that will allow you to play the game in 3D. Somehow that doesn’t sound portable-friendly. Nevertheless, the DS version will also see a variety of new game modes and mini-games including a career mode, several new dance modes, and multiplayer support.
Expect the PlayStation 2 versions’ graphics to look much like those in the Wii version. Check out the gallery on FileFront for a look at the DS version.
