The band that is part Guns N’ Roses and part Stone Temple Pilots known as Velvet Revolver will be online playing Gears of War on July 27th. They weren’t real specific about whether or not the entire band will be playing or not. It’s definitely a great opportunity though to game with a fun group of musicians. To get a chance to game with them, send a friend’s request to GWFVelvet on July 27th and from there’s it’s luck of the draw. Their new album Libertad is currently on the shelves and this is part of their promotional plan.
