Play Digital takes a hard look at Devil may Cry 4. Your video host takes you through the UI and gameplay options as well as lots of action footage. If you been hesitating to pick up this game, this video review should give you a good idea of whether this is a good buy for you.

Just when you thought the Devil would make up his mind, he’s back with the fourth part of the action-platform series, and the first outing on the latest platforms. Gorgeous visuals and some awesome FMV abound – but 20 minutes to load?

It’s been said countless times that the visuals between the PS3 and 360 are /exactly the same/. The only difference between them in reality is the PS3’s slightly better controller (for DMC anyway) and the fact it has no load times between missions because of that 20 minute install; vs. the longer (but really, NOT a problem) load times of the 360 which doesn’t install.

So it’s an uninformed review, unfortunately. Though the fact that their PS3 died an hour into the game probably made them have to really review-from-memory so I can see how the problem came about.

@Robert: I kinda agree with you. lol.

I’d say loading times are not an issue with the game. I would point out that the control scheme for the PS3 version is slightly better. Funky angles were also an issue on both consoles, but it’s still a great game.
