Well its OK if they make a remake because it’ll please US XD ahha. If you don’t like the remake, you can always play the classic one, just like what they’ve done w/ FFIV or FFVI, they remade these but you can always play the classics (if u still own them XD aha I have them on the old super nintendo =]). Anyway, Square please remake FFVII!!! I love you Square ESP your FF Series, I WOULD BE SOO HAPPY I would DEFinately be inline on the waiting list to buy a remake of FFVII T-T. Aeris I love you! Cloud and many more you’re all my favorite characters! XD

Best game every fuckin thought of!!!! No way is it overrated. Ive beetin the game so many times it aint funny but its easily more than 30 and im currently on disk 2 yet again so duhh imma be inline the first day to buy it WHEN it comes out and uhhh fuck all the losers who arent there with me! this game showed me there is more to gaming then Madden nd NBA live and first person sho0ters and since then ive played all the FF games… FFX is a respectable second but all of them where the shit

The E3 FFVII announcement was that it’s been re-released for the PS3 and the PSP on the PSN. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

The old games are good, but some of them are just okay, just because they are older does not necessarily make them better. So get your head out of your asses and realize that not JUST the classics are great games, because some of them are just not that good.

Square-Enix is slowly but surely remaking all of their “classic” titles, so of course they will remake their old psone versions, it is just a question of when, and if they will screw it up or not.

And stop saying FFVII is overrated, its a pointless argument. TONS of people GENUINELY really enjoy the game, so what? If you don’t like it, then DON’T FUCKING TROLL THE INTERNET LOOKING TO WHINE ABOUT IT.

I really hope that they do remake it because I never got the chance to pick it up when it first came out. Reason being that I got my first PS2 this year (2009)… yeah, sad, isn’t it? But still…

I’ve also heard rumors that they recently DID announce that it was to be remade, and that they would make the official announcement at E3.

They also said that they were considering making it for the DS. YIPPEE!!!

For those of you who say “No Don’t Remake it.” You all have no taste in real games. FF7 was a classic. Anyone that was into RPG’s loved it. It was the first game I ever owned. I didn’t know anything about games. I loved it. I’ve played it and replayed it over and ever again and have never gotten over it or think that it isn’t worth playing. It is the best game I’ve ever played. Yea the graphics were ok, imagine it on the ps3 or the next gen system after it. Come on…I agree that it should be remade. Not because of the graphics but because it is hard to come by and it is fun and exzillerating. (Prob spelled that wrong). Idk. They just should remake it. I’d by all that I could.

I think they need to remake the Original Four Disk Version of Final Fantasy 7. Keep The story line, Characters, Side quest, Same Materia and more, Same Weapons and More, and everything else. I’d buy three of the games and keep one sealed play one and buy two systems that it was made for and sell one of the systems and keep the other one. I mean come on. Whoever remade it like this would make millions. The game would sell millions and the system it is made for would sell millions making the video gameing inc, Millions. This is what they need to do. I would die just to have it. I’d do anything to have it remade like this and even do anything just to help remake it. I’d even invest all my money just to have it done. (If anyone has the original four disk version and are willing to sell it or get rid of it or let someone borrow it, Please contect me. If you have the three disk black version I will be willing to accept it as well, but prefer the four disk version, Please and thanks.)

I’ve been playing ff 7 since a kid, it was the first one i played
I was like 6 or 7
nways…ff 7 is a classic yes it is why im gettin a whole half sleeve of cloud, sephi, arieth and zack on my left arm haha
but why would it be destroyin a classic???
haha its funny how people saw the trailor and said WOHHH ff7 on ps3 looks NUTS
it must be made and now everyone is going on about NAHHH dont do it
if you think itll ruin a classic then dont get it, simple
nobody complained when the movie came out and nobody said that wasent destroyin a classic with all the “2 years later” etc

Final Fantasy 7 is still according to Wikipedia one the highest selling games of all time! I don’t know why Square Enix or Sony can ignore these figures, especially when Microsoft and Nintendo lead the console race. Even though the PS3 is more powerful, its being left in the dust.

I would like to see a remake not only for a great game but for a game that defined a generation! It was unlike any other, way ahead of it’s time.
Modern graphics would make this game brilliant and it would keep the fans happy.
So Square Enix listen to your fans please!

Gosh, what an argument. I know I’d like to see a remake of the game. But, ONLY if nothing but the graphics changes. There are several huge advantages to remakes, and one of them is voice acting! I’d love to hear the parts that are shown in the game in true dialogue.

Take, for example, the game Jade Cocoon. It’s one of my all time favorites. I’d do something REALLY horrible to the people who remade (if they did) the game and changed the soundtrack. It’s the best part of the game!

And to those who say that Final Fantasy games in general don’t have a good plot, I’d like to see YOU come up with well-developed characters (even if some of them are cliche) and the names for ALL the countries and ALL the cities and ALL the species of animals (like the chocobos) from the top of your head.

It’s not easy to come up with such things…you need to have a vast imagination.

Final Fantasy VII has one of the best plots I’ve ever seen, and the characters hold a very special place in my heart. Crisis Core was absolutely excellent. There are many symbols and hidden meanings.

Yes, and now, after writing a novel, I shall end this comment.

On the whole, yes, I’d like to see a remake.
