Petition for Resident Evil on PSP Gets Capcom’s Attention

It seems that an online petition for a Resident Evil game on the PSP has grabbed the attention of Capcom. Apparently, the creator of the online petition received an email from a Capcom representative stating that their endeavor could actually yield results:
“As we plan for future games the team will definitely consider the fans and specifically your petition. It does have impact. Keep me updated on the number of signatures. If you get over 10,000 that will draw significant attention.”
This sort of thing doesn’t usually happen. It’s rare that a publisher even takes notice of an online petition, much less addresses it as something that might influence their future decisions. If you’d like to help bring that number one step closer to the 10,000 mark, you can sign it yourself at this site. What I don’t understand though is how Capcom can take notice of a petition with almost 4,000 signatures, while Square-Enix seems to be completely ignoring one for a Final Fantasy VII remake that’s almost hit the 20,000 signature mark.

The problem with RE going portable, is that people are going to wonder why they can hear gunshots and moans and cries coming from your headphones. Or, if it’s something like RE4 on the PSP, why you have a chainsaw in your head.
well i just visited the site and they got over 10 000 signatures so we’ll see what happens
first of all as of now the total number of signatures for re on the psp have exceeded the 20000 mark…….hell they have exceeded the number of signatures signed for the ff7 remake. as of now the re on psp -23194 and ff7-21125……..now isnt that a reason why the petition would have got capcom’s attention
RE in PSP will work. Look at SH Origins I played the demo and its so damn good. The graphics, the texture, the lightning, the music, the sound effects, blood and gore its freaking awesome and in my opinion the scariest of all SH series.
i play games on psp and i would love to see resident evil 4 or any resident evil on the psp man that would rock.

yeah lemme say something… the psp sucks… ull never get a version of RE on the psp….
After reading all that, I hope that they’ll make a RE for the PSP
