Peggle Headed to DS

PopCap’s insanely addictive pachinko-billiards-majestic animal mash-up casual game, Peggle, is apparently coming to the Nintendo DS. PopCap co-founder John Vechey revealed this at the Casual Connect conference, which is currently ongoing in Amsterdam.
In January, we found an ESRB listing for the game as an Xbox 360 (presumably Xbox Live Arcade) title, and given the game’s simplistic nature and PopCap’s tendency to release its games on every platform possible, we should have seen this coming. There are no details to be had other than a DS version is in the works. Let’s hope it’s cheap and packed with new content.
