PC Specs Released for Mirror’s Edge; PS3 to Get Exclusive DLC Content

Looks like the specs released for DICE and Electronic Art’s upcoming first-person action title Mirror’s Edge will not force games to have to upgrade their system. Far from it actually because I would assume that most PC gamers have the following specs for their gaming rigs anyway:
- OS: Windows XP or Vista
- CPU: Pentium 4 at 2.4 GHz / Athlon 64 2800+
- RAM: 1GB
- GFX card: GeForce 6 Series with 256MB VRAM or higher, or ATI X1650 (or HD2400)
In addition to this announcement, Sony has declared that the game, will have exclusive downloadable content for the PS3. Apparently, they signed a blood contract with EA for the PSN and while this is really no big shocker (all consoles do this) we are unsure whether the Xbox 360 and the PC will get their share of exclusive downloadable content as well. Hopefully soon we will have an idea of what this DLC contains and when exactly the game will be hitting shelves, so keep checking back with us.

Hell if that is the case I’m buying this game if it plays as good as it sounds.
I got 1.5 Gig of ram, P4, and a 6800GS/XT 256Mb.

Exclusives are lame. Either games exclusive to one console, or DLC. I’ve got a PS3 and a PC, so I’m good with the DLC, but it’s still stupid that people that don’t have a PS3 won’t get it.
These deals that favor one console over the other that Sony and Microsoft keep making don’t do the consumers any good.
I agree with you 100% Josh.
Nice. It’s definitely a game that will appeal more to the general PS3 owner than the 360 owner. Still don’t plan on buying it though.
Those specs are pretty low req, i wonder if thats for base graphics or to just run the game on low.
About the DLC, this game is being made mainly for consoles, you can’t say you didn’t see this crap coming. Any company that makes games based off consoles screw it up 1 way or another because of conflicting systems and the deals that Sony and Microsoft try to lure them with. Pc 4 life.
