PAX to Fill the Shoes of Mega-E3?

When it was announced last year that E3 would be scaled back from the massive media frenzy it had become, many people began to wonder if some other gaming convention would step up to become the next big game event. Well, it looks like the guys over at Penny Arcade are poised to fill that void with PAX already growing to humongous proportions. They’ve apparently tripled the exhibitor space from last year and are still having trouble fitting in all the developers and groups that want to set up shop. Below is a full list of all the groups that will be in attendance, and it’s almost a “who’s who” of the big names in the gaming world. Bear in mind too that this is in addition to all the other special events, such as concerts, a keynote by Will Wheaton, and the Omegathon tournament. PAX is quickly becoming the show to attend this year.
