PAX 2008 Dated

With the downsizing of E3, gamers have been looking for an event that could fill its old shoes at least a little bit. From the looks of this year’s showing, the Penny Arcade Expo could be stepping up to the task. This past year’s PAX was phenomenal and had the show’s largest attendance yet., making it the largest games convention in North America. So it’s no wonder they’re already announcing the dates for next year’s event. PAX 2008 will take place from August 29-31.
“PAX has always been about community,” said Robert Khoo of Penny Arcade, “and I think that was really reflected in the overall vibe of the show. PAX celebrates what it means to be a gamer, and walking onto the show floor gives you this sense of kinship … it just feels right.”
Better clear those dates on your calendar now. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this one.
