Lighthouse Interactive and dtp Entertainment announced today that their adventure/psychological thriller for the PC, Overclocked: A History of Violence, has gone gold and North American gamers can expect it to hit shelves on March 31 while Europe will get theirs on May 2.

Overclocked explores an archetypical, yet actual condition of mankind: violence. Gamers will play in a world where memories and illusions; dreams and reality; perpetrators and victims collide against a backdrop of a catastrophic thunderstorm raging over NYC. You will step into the shoes of former army psychiatrist, David McNamara who has been asked to consult on a case at the Staten Island Forensic Hospital.

Tasked with exploring the minds of five young men and women who were found scared, screaming, and without memory, you being to make discoveries as to the the cause while you probe the psyches of your young patients. Throughout the game, you will also play as five other characters.
