Ouch! Force Feedback Helmet Lets You Feel the Bullets Hit Your Skull

Some manufacturers seem to always be trying to find new ways to make video games more immersive and realistic. For some reason though, rather than pouring money into functional Holodeck technology (c’mon guys, you want the porn industry to beat you to it?), most companies seem content with finding ways to make you feel a small amount of pain. We’ve seen force feedback vests before, which make you feel each hit, punch, blast, and so on that you take; but TN Games is taking that idea to the next level with an additional helmet peripheral. Like the vest, the helmet uses “3rd Space technology” to deliver a blow to the same area you get hit in the game. The company claims you’ll even be able to feel bullets whizzing by your head. The vest inflicts five pounds of force to your torso, but it’s doubtful that the helmet would use the same.
Now, when is someone going to make boots that let me feel the squish of a Goomba after I jump on it in a Mario game?

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen…
Just have your friends punch you in the back of the head while your playing and you’ll save a few bucks.
I bet it’ll make you better at the game though.
