Opera Releases DS Browser for US

GamesIndustry.biz has the latest information on new software for the Nintendo DS. Opera Software has released a Nintendo DS version of its browser in the US. The Norwegian company already provides a browser for the Nintendo Wii which is a featured free download for this month.
“With the DS Browser, Nintendo continues to expand the possibilities for users of this tremendously popular game platform,” commented Scott Hedrick, EVP of marketing for Opera Software.
With the new browser, DS users can now access the internet while on the go. You can purchase the browser for the DS Lite in retail stores. Owners of the original DS will have to purchase the browser from Nintendo.com.
