One Killer Night – Dead Head Fred Teams Up With Rob Zombie

I love to make fun of Uwe Boll, hell who doesn’t? However, there is another director out there who has provided me with tons of sarcastic fodder to keep me going for years. Who is this horrendous person who takes two hours away from your life with each film endeavor? Rob Zombie. Yes, I am familiar with his fan base and I am sure most of you will slam me for degrading him even the slightest bit – but as much as I enjoy him personally and his music (I REALLY enjoy his music) – I hate his films. Despise them actually. It is not the gore, the nudity that looks like it belongs in a 70’s era porn, or him constantly finding a reason to show his wife’s butt crack that annoys me, it is the repetitiveness. Both of his movies are basically the same, and there was nothing shocking or outrageous in ‘The Devil’s Regjects’ that wasn’t done in his first flick. That being said, let me finally get to the point of my post.
D3Publisher of America and Dimension Films are teaming-up to offer fans a chance to win a hometown screening of Rob Zombie’s remake of “Halloween” before release in late August, presented by Dead Head Fred. Fans will enter the “One Killer Night†Sweepstakes and three lucky winners will win a private hometown screening for themselves and up to 50 of their friends. Sign up for the contest here.
Created specifically for the PSP, Dead Head Fred draws players into a 1940’s inspired alternative universe where players collect, upgrade and switch heads on the fly to strategically fight enemies in a story of revenge and redemption. As private detective Fred Neuman, savagely murdered and then resurrected in a bizarre scientific experiment without his memory or his head, players embark on a quest for vengeance as they solve their own murder by using the severed heads of enemies to battle their way through challenging but bizarre environments. Dead Head Fred is anticipated for release on August 28, 2007.
