Official PlayStation Home Date Not So Official

We reported yesterday on what appeared to be the release date of the PlayStation 3’s MySpace Xbox Live community thing, Home, but today Sony is dismissing the claim outright. The “official” release schedule for a variety of games across all Sony platforms – Home included – first sprung up on Kotaku and was picked up by sites all around the Internet.
An SCE UK spokesperson said, “That’s not an official release schedule. None of the dates on the list have been confirmed at this time.
“I don’t know where Kotaku have taken them from or why they’re claiming ‘SCEE have clarified dates’ as we haven’t sent them anything, and neither have our Central office.”
Sony wouldn’t comment on the Home date specifically, but only said there will be announcements regarding Home made at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, which runs from September 20 – 23.

*deep breath*
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
who gives a shit? what ever happened to people actually playing video games on… guess what… a video game machine. But lets see, Sony gives us Bluray and a Sims meets Second Life game lobby… thing.. sorta. Anyway, Sony stop with the filler bullshit and GIVE US GOOD GAMES!
I care. Plenty of good games are coming, and I was looking forward to having Home on the side. I think it’s a pretty cool idea.
