Official Max Payne Theatrical Trailer Released

I watched this video at the same time as the one we posted back in July because it looked like the same trailer. Maybe if I had looked at the running time of each one before I did this I would have noticed that the trailer posted above is about a minute longer. In my defense though, they are VERY much alike – however with the added content in the new one, it is much more in depth and still looks rather cool.
The movie will be released on October 17, and personally I am going into the theater not expecting a Max Payne movie because it just does not look like one.

it looks like it is going to be based on the first game and not a continuation of the story (or at least it looks like that to me, but I guess we’ll have to wait an see) I suspect the winged demons (honestly not what I picture when I think of valkyre (srry if i spell it wrong)) are just hallucinations, the game centered largely around the abuse of a dangerous drug known as ‘V’ (for valkyre) – at least that’s what i remember, been a long time since i played the games.

Anyway, looks sweet and I am excited to see this in theaters, also glad it isn’t all cg (cg is cool an all, but real live actors are a must for a max payne movie in my books)
Needs more of a gritty and dark atmosphere. Max Payne story, the first game, is a tragedy, so i shouldn’t have that much explosions.
It reminds me of the hitman film.
If you dont compare it to the game it was a damn good film … Looks the same will happen here.
Should be called Constantine 2 to be honest… As the guy who first replied said. Although, to be fair, it looks like it will be a decent movie anyway. I just hope that its a 15… xD
