Odd: Jimmy Buffett and Disturbed Coming to Rock Band Next Week

Um…alright. It looks like next week’s Rock Band DLC will bring an odd mix of tracks from both folk pop crooner Jimmy Buffet and heavy metal group Disturbed. One cranks out tunes that will forever scar your very soul, while the other’s called “Disturbed.”
- “Margaritaville” by Jimmy Buffett (master – new original recording)
- “Cheeseburger in Paradise” by Jimmy Buffett (master – new original recording)
- “Volcano” by Jimmy Buffett (master – new original recording)
- “Indestructible” by Disturbed (master)
- “Inside the Fire” by Disturbed (master)
- “Perfect Insanity” by Disturbed (master)
I’m not really a fan of either of these performers, especially Jimmy Buffett (for reasons that would take too long to explain here). I’d probably be more interested in this DLC if Disturbed was singing Jimmy Buffett’s songs or vice versa. Anyway, the Jimmy Buffett tracks will cost $2.99 each, while the Disturbed tracks will cost $.99 each. They shoul be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace on Wednesday and the PSN on Thursday.

It’s not every day that you find Jimmy Buffett and Disturbed popping up in a headline together. I have to admit though: I love the hell outta’ Jimmy and Disturbed rocks my world in so many ways. This unprecedented duo actually gets me kinda’ excited about playing Rock Band. Bring on the diversity!
