Tired of having to deal with the wired Nunchuk when playing Wii games? Well, Nyko is set to fix that problem by releasing a Wireless Nunchuk which will provide you with another thing to throw into your television.

The magic to make it work will come in the form of a 2.4 GHz receiver that will simply plug into the Nunchuk port on the Wiimote. Both pieces will feature on and off buttons.

The layout of buttons on the Nunchuk is essentially the same as the first party equivalent, so you shouldn’t run into any problems for wanting to go wireless.

I’m hoping that a wireless classic classic is next up, because having it tethered to the Wiimote is significantly more annoying than the Nunchuk.

Third party Wii peripherals? Always a good thing, especially if they’re wireless.

Classic controller? Yeah, sure, that makes sense. The nunchuck? Errrr, there’s plenty of space for it to not be made wireless. heck, if you REALLY wanted to, you could always have one player holding the nunchuck and someone else the Wiimote without it being uncomfortable. Still, the moaners of the fact the nunchuck weren’t wireless in the first place will probably buy this, so if there’s a market, it’ll sell.
