Nyko Releasing a PlayStation 3 Controller Charger

To compensate for the lack of any official charge kit for the Sixaxis, Nyko will be releasing the Charge Base 2. It’ll feature the ability to quickly charge two controllers – either DualShock 3 or Sixaxis – at once and will save you the hassle of having to charge your PS3 controllers via USB.
It’s not a who lot unlike the Xbox 360’s Quick Charge kit which anyone who owns knows is insanely useful and convenient.
The Charge Base 2 will have charge indicators to let you know the status of your controllers which will be charged by plugging the unit into an AC outlet.
It’ll be available this month for $29.99.
Am I the only person who does not understand a need for this? – the Sixaxis charges through the included USB cable (or any USB cable for that matter)
what the hell is that….It looks like some thing from the sixties if i had the chance to get one of those for free………i wold rather cut off my hand and feed it to my mother! one word UGLY
So they can’t get the USB cable to work or what?

I think you all are so full of what comes out the backside of a bull. This is a awesome charging system. the controlers are so diffucult to plug into a usb 2 charger that you can break them or dammage the controler. With this charging system you dont have that problem you just plug in the adapter into the controler and then just leave it. When you are ready to charge it just drop it into the station and that is it. The station will do all the work for you without having your PS-3 turned on. Now how hard,redicoulous,stuppid,or out dated is that I think that you just have some reviews from little rich kids that dont know how hard it is to come about the money to get on of these things thanks,
