NWN2 Expansion update: Genasi Race

The latest community update is live over on the official Neverwinter Nights 2 boards. The weekly installment focuses on the upcoming races of The Mask of the Betrayer expansion for the game. We get a sneak peek at the elemental sub-race the Genasi:
With Mask of the Betrayer, Genasi will be making their debut. Many people have been wondering exactly what Genasi are. Hopefully I can answer some of that here.
As a playable race, per the FRCS: “Genasi are descended from elemental-related creatures, such as efreet, dao, djinn, jann, and marids, among others. Most of them have had no direct contact with their elemental forebears, but the signs of their heritage are apparent. Genasi take great pride in their distinctive features and abilities.
The post also goes on to highlight some community content for the game like a magical fountain that grants spell-effects, the persistent worlds spotlight rests on “The Frontier” and a developing mod called Pergitorio that brings some popular Planescape setting and creatures to NWN2.
