Nudity to Promote Need for Speed Pro Street: Why Not?

EA has apparently apologized for these images by now, but still, Polygamia is now officially my favorite website that I can’t read. After finding a photoshoot of a nude Polish model posing with various Xbox 360 accessories, there’s now another photoset up featuring more nudie babe goodness. This time, the girls are British and the pictures are to promote EA’s Need for Speed: Pro Street. Apparently, these pictures featuring models Amii and Becky were featured in a recent issue of the men’s publication, Page 3, an offshoot of The Sun. Once again though, the photos and video following the link below are extremely NSFW, so much so that the image above is the only one I can post on this PG-13 site. Man, Europe just plain rules.

I’m embarrassed, quite honestly. I cannot say just how annoyed I get by the implications of ’sex sells’. Yes, of course it does and I know that full well, but we’re better than that…or at least I’d like to think so, apparently now.
Quite honestly, I’d like to ban all advertising eliciting sex or nudity unless it is appropriate to the advertisement; using models to shoot for a damn racing game doesn’t cut it with me. I’m a gamer like everyone else on here, but this is just ridiculous.
cars and sex have gone hand in hand for decades so this isnt really surprising
the fact is, if you have a fixation with the latest Jag and Jeremy Clarkson then chances are you don’t have a problem with the whole babes next to cars thing either
it seems that Polygamia has just realised what the target audience for the game and has used suitable advertising for that group
i wont be worried by this sort of thing until i see a LoZ poster with a scantily clad zelda infront of epona…

hey don’t blame NFS, other stuff like Car magazines have models in them which get there attention but what’s the use of getting that product if your just getting it for the girls. You would rather get a playboy magazine if want naked pictures or search it on the net. I think you guys are wrong.
