November Unreal Tournament 3 Release Date “No Guarantee”

Just when you thought it was safe to hold out hope, developers bring us the almighty “maybe.” Loose release dates are just so much fun.
As of now, Unreal Tournament 3 has been slated for November of this year. But as we have seen from so many of our most anticipated releases, GTAIV and the Orange Box just to name a couple, chalk on a slate is different than a chisel in stone.
“We do not know exactly when the game will be completed,” Marc Rein, Vice President of Epic Games, stated in a response on the official Unreal Tournament forums. “All we’ve said is that we’re hoping for a November release but as you know we value getting it right over getting it right now so there’s no guarantee of that.”
