No PS3 Trophies for Call of Duty 4 Says Infinity Ward

Here is bit of disappointing news for those who play CoD4 on their PS3.
Infinity Ward has no plans to go back and add trophies to the game. Pulled straight from the Infinity Ward forum, Rob Bowling had this to say regarding the situation:
Hey Everyone -
With the latest Playstation 3 firmware now available, I see a lot of questions regarding how it effects Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
At this time, we have no plans to patch in Trophy support for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the PS3. Much like DualShock rumble addition to the PS3, the support for these new features have come much to late for us to add it to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare due to our current production schedule.
We would have loved to have these in the game at launch if the support was available, or shortly after.
If any gamers were looking forward to the possibility of this, I am sorry to have ruined your day.

That’s completely fine. I’m not expecting many companies to go back and patch their games to support trophies. That’ll just take away precious resources that could be working on their upcoming titles.
wots a 360 ???? anyway we got call of duty 5 (NOV) or gran turismo 5 (NOV) to luck forward to, these titles will support trophies,, maybe a few game patches for games like mgs etc , so dont remove savegame files just yet……..
PS3 = BETTER THAN XBOX
yo i’d first like to say that COD4 is tha sh*t and cod5, 6, 7 will be even better. about tha trophys it sure would make a good difference but at tha same time it wont matter cuz tha game is good enuff as it is. i am done prestige mode all tha way and i’m so prestige i got every gun category in GOLD except for snipers and light machine gunz (they are pretty much halfway to it) and it would be awesome if once u reach gold for a gun category u could have any of those done gunz in gold camo cuz so many ppl get them and its alwayz tha same case when dealing with it. like only AK47 can be gold for assault riflez, infinityward should make a patch for those golden. like if u get golden assault rifle u can make them all gold… and if u got gold gunz tha person should have like a special symbol wit tha # of golden gunz beside them similar to how tha rank icons are (u should just put a small sized # right in tha center of tha icon like a tiny 1 2 3 4 or 5) cuz so many noobs start playing and dunno how to play for sh*t and ppl underestimate alot and its hard to show ur worth in tha game for wut it really is cuz u cant really lol like once u reach gold u feel like shootin tha enemy players with all of them

really if they dont bring any new thing for cod4 it willl get boring i stopped playing it a couple days ago i already got almost every golden gun exept the golden shotgun and sniper i already finished challenge for the 150 kills with each weapon and including those other challenges operations killer all that i just need like 3 challenges left (not weapons) i want new stuff for the game at least till november for resistance 2 and cod5 if they dont add trophies 4 cod5 i might just rent it because i dont like back in the WW’s it like the same the cuz theres only 2world wars and theres already 4of cod games that have that

xboxplaya obviously doesn’t know video games that well or he would have enough common sense to NOT say crap box is better, but yea it is a boring game without something to shoot for.
