So far a Wii exclusive, Ubisoft and Grasshopper’s No More Heroes is looking pretty good. Already available in Japan, Goichi Suda’s (Killer 7) has created a game where you play as Travis Touchdown, who procures a Beam Katana through an online auction, decides to use the weapon on his path to becoming a professional killer. An assassin by the name of Helter Skelter challenges Travis - who emerges the victor only to find himself face-to-face with an enigmatic French woman named Silvia Christel. As and agent with the UAA, she gives Travis a rank of 11 in the organization and your goal in the game is to become the #1 killer.Taking place in the city of Santa Destroy, No More Heroes gives you the option of exploring the town and acquiring missions to collect money and new weapons as you gain experience - and this all leads up to the main contract killings you must fulfill.

No More Heroes takes advantage of the Wii remote by turning it into your Beam Katana, which is what you will use to defeat your enemies. A solid release date has not been announced, but Ubisoft expects it to hit retail stores sometime around February 6, 2008. Stay tuned, as more details should surface soon.
