No DLC for GTA IV on PS3

Bad news, PS3 owners. Looks like the Sony still hasn’t formulated any plans to release downloadable content for their system’s version of Grand Theft Auto IV. The parent company to Rockstar Games, Take Two Interactive, has just revealed its lineup of games for 2008, and there isn’t any mention of of new content for GTA IV on the PS3. Right now, it looks like only Xbox 360 owner are in for the exclusive DLC love, which might even include two extra episodes with several hours of play. On the plus side for Playstation 3 owners, Take Two also announced that their upcoming LA Noire will be a PS3-exclusive title.
So there you have it. If you have a choice, it looks like the Xbox version is the way to go at the moment. It’s surprising that Sony hasn’t worked out their own deal yet, considering this is a major title that could really influence a buyer’s decision on which console to get.
Screw console content, gimme the damn PC version!
until the game is close to being out we will see what happends. Not only that but mabey the PS3 wont need the download it does have a blue ray player you know.
but, in insomniac’s fiscal plans for this year there were no mentions of dlc for resistance, but its coming, just because they dont announce it several months before the game comes out, doesnt mean it wont happen, i remember hearing that xbox was getting episodic content and ps3 was getting new area map content
Well lets just hope R* are not full of shit and are not just selling out to the xbox3shitty. Maybe they’re not mentioning it for the PS3 cuz it’s not ready or it maybe actually be better that what the xbox boys are getting. But I do remember them talking about extra content for BOTH consoles. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
That’s odd, in that report besides a list of upcoming games, something was suppose to be confirmed by Take-Two?
Oh I see. It should have said PS3 followed by (exclusive downloadable content.) But wait, that wasn’t said for the 360 in that report either. Oh noes.

Just shows how cheap the PS3 is getting compared to the 360. There is literally nothing left in this console that would make us proud of getting one.
Apparently the 360 is going to be dominating for a while now.
Well i went to gamestop.com to see whats up with the game and the game does have downlodable content and will be online also, But now that gamestop updated there website you cant see the amount of players and other stuff. This was for the ps3.
