I don’t know that my mother would really like a Nintendo DS, but maybe if she were Japanese…
There’s a neat blurb in WIRED about Nintendo targeting girls for Mother’s Day in Japan. Considering how many people bought a Nintendo DS just last month in Japan, it makes sense. It could even help you keep up with fashion.
“If you’re a female and you’re on the train, you can take out a DS. I think it helps that it looks more stylish than it used to,” said one woman interviewed in the article.
I think my mom would go for a little Zendoku, though. It would definitely be a lot better than the crappy electronic Sudoku game she carries around with her like a second child…
