The top sixteen best-selling games in Japan are ALL exclusive to the Wii or DS, scoring Nintendo a full sweep on the charts. At the top of the list is Square’s Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings with 274,00 copies sold, and a truly staggering lead over second-place finisher Momotarou Dentetsu, which sold 79,000 copies. The Wii has five titles in the top ten, including new entry Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree at number five.
By comparison, the highest ranked PSP title is is Final Fantasy: Anniversary Edition at number seventeen, and there are no PS3 games in the top thirty. Microsoft fares no better, with only two titles in the top thirty; Test Drive Unlimited (#24) and Rainbow Six: Vegas (#27).
